Subtitle timing can drift when the subtitle and video come from different releases, have different intros, or were edited or encoded with different delays.
Delay or advance subtitles
If subtitles appear too early, delay them. If subtitles appear too late, advance them. Cues moved before zero are clamped to zero; a cue entirely before zero starts at zero and keeps its original duration.
